We believe in the person of God the Father, an infinite, eternal, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all those who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

We believe in the person of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, his substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people and personal, visible return to earth .

We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit, Who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ.

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.

 We believe in the Baptism with the Holy Spirit as a distinct and separate experience to that of regeneration, occurring either subsequent to or simultaneous with salvation, evidenced by a greater dynamic in the Christian’s life, enabling that person to be a bold and more effective witness. The supreme evidence of the Spirit-filled life is the fruit of the Spirit, love. We believe in the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit in regard to the exercise of all biblical gifts of the Holy Spirit according to the instructions given to us.

We believe also in the laying on of hands for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, for ordination of pastors, elders, and deacons, and for receiving gifts of the Spirit of healing.

We believe that there is one living and true GOD, eternally existing in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all things.

We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired without error and the infallible rule of faith and practice. The Word of God is the foundation upon which the church operates and is the basis for which the church is governed. We believe that the Word of God supersedes any earthly law that is contrary to the Holy Scriptures.

We believe in what is termed "The Apostles' Creed" as the embodying fundamental facts of Christian faith. 

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and choice, falling short of God’s standard and breaking His commandments – and therefore are under God’s righteous judgment. Yet, God saves and gives new life to all who come to Him in repentance and faith, trusting in the Person and work of Jesus Christ. At the cross, Jesus Christ died in our place as our substitute, absorbing God’s wrath that should have come upon us. Because Jesus died for the sins of the world the invitation to believe is open to all, and whoever desires may come unto Jesus for new life and the forgiveness of sins .

We believe in the pattern and principle of male leadership and responsibility in both the home and the church, according to the sacrificial example of Jesus. We believe this limits the roles of pastoral leadership and doctrinal authority to qualified men.

 We believe in the universal church, the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the head and all who are born again are a part of the Body of Christ.

We believe that the Lord, Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances for the church: the full-immersion water baptism of believers and the Lord’s Supper (communion open to all believers).

We believe in a literal Heaven and a literal Hell and that all those who place their faith, hope and trust in Jesus Christ will spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord. Those who reject Jesus’ free gift of salvation will spend eternity separated from the Lord.

We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, which is His personal, visible return to Earth and the establishment of His millennial kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment and eternal blessing of the righteous and endless separation of the wicked .

We believe in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church where all believers will meet the Lord in the air and be taken out of this world prior to the Tribulation that will come upon the earth

We believe that God created man and that He created them male and female. As such, He created them different so as to complement and complete each other. God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. Therefore, we perform marriages in accordance with the Bible consistent with the Old and New Testament.

The Bible is the foundation of everything we do. Rather than choosing topics from week to week, we normally teach straight through books of the Bible, explaining each passage in its context and applying it to everyday life.

This approach helps us understand the whole counsel of God instead of focusing only on certain subjects.

Our desire is not simply to gain knowledge about the Bible. We want to know Christ, follow Him, and become more like Him. Every part of Scripture ultimately points us to Jesus, and every ministry of the church should reflect His grace and truth.

The Christian life is not lived by human effort alone. We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers for holy living and for ministry. We also believe the gifts of the Spirit are still active today, while always remaining subject to the authority of Scripture and exercised in an orderly, biblical way.

Salvation is entirely a gift of God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We are not saved by good works, and we do not stay saved by trying harder. At the same time, God's grace produces a changed life. As we walk with Christ, He continues the work of making us more like Him.

The return of Jesus Christ is a central part of the Christian hope. We hold to a premillennial, pre-tribulational understanding of Bible prophecy. We believe the next event on God's prophetic calendar is the catching away of the Church, after which God will fulfill His promises to Israel during the Tribulation before Christ returns to establish His Kingdom on earth.
This conviction shapes the way we live. Knowing that Christ could return at any time encourages us to walk faithfully, share the gospel urgently, and keep our eyes fixed on eternity. Rather than leading to fear or speculation, the promise of Christ's return fills us with hope and reminds us that our Lord is faithful to every promise He has made.

Jesus completely changed the world's understanding of leadership. He taught that greatness in God's Kingdom is not measured by power, position, or recognition, but by humility and service. As Calvary Chapel, we believe pastors and ministry leaders are first called to be servants. Their role is to faithfully care for God's people, teach God's Word, and lead by example rather than by control or personal ambition.
We desire to cultivate a church where leaders equip others for ministry instead of doing everything themselves, and where every believer is encouraged to use the gifts God has given them to serve the body of Christ. Our goal is not to build a platform for individuals, but to point people to Jesus, the Chief Shepherd, who came not to be served, but to serve.

Worship is our response to who God is and what He has done. Our desire is to lead people into genuine, Christ-centered worship that is rooted in biblical truth. The focus is never on a style of music or a performance on stage, but on glorifying God together as His people.
Our worship reflects both the rich heritage of the Church and the songs God continues to give His people today. We sing modern worship songs alongside timeless hymns, all in a contemporary style that encourages the whole congregation to participate. We value songs that are biblically faithful, centered on Christ, and accessible for the church to sing together.
Whether a song was written centuries ago or last year, our prayer is the same: that our worship would honor God, proclaim the truth of His Word, and draw our hearts closer to Jesus.
